Message from the CEO, Ashenafi Keneni Desa
Dear Stakeholders,
As we navigate the ever-evolving landscape of investment in Ethiopia, I am honored to lead the Center for Investment Networking in Ethiopia (CINE) at this pivotal moment in our nation’s journey toward sustainable economic growth.
Ethiopia stands at a crossroads, endowed with rich natural resources, a youthful and dynamic population, and a strategic geographical location that positions it as a gateway to Africa. Under the visionary leadership of our founder, His Excellency Dr. Mulatu Teshome, CINE was established to bridge the gap between investors and the opportunities that our vibrant economy offers. Our mission is to catalyze sustainable investment partnerships that not only fuel economic development but also empower communities and create lasting jobs.
At CINE, we recognize the vital role that Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) plays in transforming our economy. FDI brings much-needed capital, advanced technology, and expertise, enabling us to enhance productivity, foster innovation, and generate better-paying jobs for our people. We are committed to attracting global investors by providing tailored advisory services and ensuring a conducive environment that promotes sustainable practices. As we look ahead, CINE will continue to advocate for an improved investment policy environment that addresses the challenges faced by investors. We believe that fostering an ecosystem conducive to investment is not just our responsibility but a collective mission that requires collaboration among all stakeholders.
I invite you to join us in our endeavor to unlock Ethiopia’s vast potential. Together, we can harness the power of investment to create a prosperous future for our nation and its people.
Warm regards,
Ashenafi Keneni Desa
